I have the AI X1 version of this unit, and it's great for the money, but yeah, this timeline is broken.

Billionaire corporations are paying pennies on the dollar for RAM for their AI operations, while we, as smaller consumers, must pay the difference that they are failing to cover.

Won't help you waiting as the prices are gonna keep increasing only, for the forseeable future, due to the AI thrend. If you can wait more than a year or so, then may be but otherwise buy now and save money on memory. It's pretty high even now but going to be worse.

If you have time, that would be appreciated. I have a spare SSD and 16gb ddr5 from a damaged gaming laptop. Mostly if it throttles. Thanks!

It does not throttle, neitherthis or AI X1 and they have some of the best thermals.

With RAM and SSD's being so damn expensive... these bare bone systems are selling for next to nothing. I am sure sales have slowed down due to the rising costs.

For this deal... just the CPU alone is like $315... you do the math.

To me, this is a serious deal if you have access to RAM and a hard drive.
