I'm a Proton Plus user for 4 years. Was waiting on a deal to renew. Saw the splash screen on the Proton VPN App and clicked. I ended up getting 50% off - effectively 2 years for price of 1 year. They provided me with a prorated total since I had paid through June this year. They have discounts on additional tiers offering more services - I just use ProtonVPN - and Mail - and they do have Storage included at Plus Level. I think you get 65% off new user.

Overall I'm impressed with Proton - they update the SW often - they have a great Support Forum on Reddit - also great support via email. Only downsides - their Mac and Linux Apps are not as robust and feature rich as Windows. I hope this changes.

Which is better?
I haven't noticed any major problems. I use it on an IPhone, Mac, and travel WiFi.
What I found is the ProtonVPN app for IPhone lacks a bit of user friendliness but it works well.
I liked that NordVPN allowed you to download a batch of server info to connect to for my Travel WiFi. In Nord you have to download one by one.
I got the highest account so I also have storage, which I moved all my videos from Google Photos to free up some storage. Everything is encrypted so it's a bit slow but not a major problem for me.
Overall 9/10 would recommend.

Proton still claims not to keep logs on their VPN, so just be aware if that is what you need. I use Proton and found that you have to use their servers that are high in number. For instance, if I use a Chicago server and it says Chicago 200, that will have already been banned most places so I have to keep connecting until I get a high enough server, such as Chicago 600 that will be fine.
Again not a big deal but something to be aware of.

So either it isn't working for me or I have a decade of Proton VPN loaded up
Unfortunately this does not work with the 2 year plan which rings up at 50% off (4.99 usd)
