This is a stacked Galaxy S26 Ultra deal that hinges on a trade in, the $300 Amazon limited time rebate, and a $200 Amazon gift card. The rebate is tied to the trade in flow and is paid to the original payment method after verification, while the trade in value lands as an Amazon gift card. The strongest effective prices come from qualifying phones like a Pixel 8 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro, but the 256GB version and the 9 percent cash back claim have been inconsistent in checkout. Trade in rejections and missing rebate displays add friction, so the appeal is mostly for shoppers comfortable with the extra steps.
Trade-in shoppers with a qualifying phone, because the deal stacks a $300 rebate, a trade-in value, and a $200 Amazon gift card.
Prime Visa holders who can use slower shipping, because the card can stack with cash back and interest-free payments without counting as financing.
Heavy-storage phone users, because 256GB can be a meaningful upgrade when a 128GB phone is already near full.
Unlocked-phone buyers who want to avoid carrier lock-in, because this listing is for an unlocked device and can downgrade trade-in value instead of rejecting it.
People trading in a phone that may be flagged or mismatched, because trade-ins can be rejected and require repeated support calls.
Shoppers who want a simple, low-effort purchase, because the rebate and cash-back stack can be confusing and hard to verify.
Buyers who need the trade-in value paid back as cash, because the trade-in amount comes as an Amazon gift card.
Shoppers expecting the advertised effective price without a Pixel 8 Pro trade-in, because the stated total depends on that specific trade-in.

So, you should put $883 + $375 AGC after your trade in Pixel 8 Pro in the title, OP.
so it's basically $575 (300 + 275) for my P9PXL 256GB, $200 gift card, and 6% cash back (~$90)
Not sure it's good deal, but it certainly save time by not going through carrier plan deals
Not if you take care of it

Never did a trade in with Amazon. Do not want to lose the $300 rebate, if the trade in fails.

If you have a qualifying phone, don't mind being locked for 60 days, and are a Spectrum customer, the Spectrum deal is still better since it gives you $700 + lower trade-in value off. My Fold 5 has $260 value on Amazon and only $130 on Spectrum.
However, I like how this deal is for unlocked phone, and it tells you they will downgrade the trade-in value instead of completely rejecting if they deem requirements not met and Amazon's damaged values are still higher than elsewhere. My Fold 5 has a slight paler streak in crease that randomly started just one month ago, and I've been afraid of trading in, in case it gets rejected. Otherwise works fine.
I bought an unlocked s25 fe on the total wireless deal for free with 3m unlimited plan as a backup phone in case it gets worse.
But really tempted to pull the trigger now.
