This is a stacked Galaxy S26 Ultra deal that hinges on a trade in, the $300 Amazon limited time rebate, and a $200 Amazon gift card. The rebate is tied to the trade in flow and is paid to the original payment method after verification, while the trade in value lands as an Amazon gift card. The strongest effective prices come from qualifying phones like a Pixel 8 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro, but the 256GB version and the 9 percent cash back claim have been inconsistent in checkout. Trade in rejections and missing rebate displays add friction, so the appeal is mostly for shoppers comfortable with the extra steps.
Common Questions (5)
The Prime Visa cash back appears to stack, but the $300 rebate is not counted as card-spend for the cash-back calculation. Reported checkout totals vary between 5% and 6% back, and the tax is charged on the pre-discounted $1,299 price.
No, the rebate is tied to qualifying trade-ins and some phones do not qualify at all. Examples that were reported as qualifying include an iPhone 11 64GB and a Pixel 9 Pro, while some A16/Verizon-branded trade-ins were later rejected.
Yes, the $300 Amazon limited-time rebate can apply to the 256GB model when you complete a qualifying trade-in. It appears inside the trade-in flow as an extra line item and is paid after the trade-in is verified.
The trade-in value is added as an Amazon.com Gift Card to your Amazon account, while the $300 rebate goes back to your original payment method after verification. The trade-in and rebate are separate payouts, so the gift card is not cash back to your card.
Yes, the $300 bonus may not show on the first trade-in page or after selecting pickup, and some checkout flows only reveal it on the final trade-in prompt. Re-entering the trade-in flow or continuing to the final page can make the rebate line appear.

So, you should put $883 + $375 AGC after your trade in Pixel 8 Pro in the title, OP.
so it's basically $575 (300 + 275) for my P9PXL 256GB, $200 gift card, and 6% cash back (~$90)
Not sure it's good deal, but it certainly save time by not going through carrier plan deals
Not if you take care of it

Never did a trade in with Amazon. Do not want to lose the $300 rebate, if the trade in fails.

If you have a qualifying phone, don't mind being locked for 60 days, and are a Spectrum customer, the Spectrum deal is still better since it gives you $700 + lower trade-in value off. My Fold 5 has $260 value on Amazon and only $130 on Spectrum.
However, I like how this deal is for unlocked phone, and it tells you they will downgrade the trade-in value instead of completely rejecting if they deem requirements not met and Amazon's damaged values are still higher than elsewhere. My Fold 5 has a slight paler streak in crease that randomly started just one month ago, and I've been afraid of trading in, in case it gets rejected. Otherwise works fine.
I bought an unlocked s25 fe on the total wireless deal for free with 3m unlimited plan as a backup phone in case it gets worse.
But really tempted to pull the trigger now.
