Never did a trade in with Amazon. Do not want to lose the $300 rebate, if the trade in fails.

If you have a qualifying phone, don't mind being locked for 60 days, and are a Spectrum customer, the Spectrum deal is still better since it gives you $700 + lower trade-in value off. My Fold 5 has $260 value on Amazon and only $130 on Spectrum.
However, I like how this deal is for unlocked phone, and it tells you they will downgrade the trade-in value instead of completely rejecting if they deem requirements not met and Amazon's damaged values are still higher than elsewhere. My Fold 5 has a slight paler streak in crease that randomly started just one month ago, and I've been afraid of trading in, in case it gets rejected. Otherwise works fine.
I bought an unlocked s25 fe on the total wireless deal for free with 3m unlimited plan as a backup phone in case it gets worse.
But really tempted to pull the trigger now.
