Bruh, 22+6 isn't 40. No item can be further than 28 feet from the outlet. Put away that 40ft nonsense.

I bought 21 of these today and the package says 40 ft. Just you can use 40 ft as long as you're not using over what 16 gauge could accommodate But I'm using it for takes less than 20 watts But this will work with many other electrical devices. If you put a big load on the wire likely to breaker will trip or the wire could heat up

Yep, marketing bs. You cannot plug it in and walk 40 ft from a plug and expect power. It's 28 feet. But I understand they are trying to make it sound big.

I didn't open any up yet but you're saying this is 28 ft instead of 40 ft I'm in which is fine because they were only $3 Guess I'll check tomorrow

Yes, the cord is 22 feet to the split, and then splits into three 6 foot sections. It's a great deal, but while there is technically 40 feet of cord, you can only get 28 feet from an outlet. Though this seems perfect for Christmas decorations or something.

It's 40 linear feet total. Extension cord math is weird.

10 bucks on clearance at my "clearance" prone HD! I almost got one but didn't. At 4 bucks, I would have, for sure, bought one!

1st store sez 5, none I can see, 2nd store sez 12, none on shelf, do not see any on overhead storage
3rd store sez 18, not even a spot on the shelf for them
Then I look overhead shelving & see a box, grab a ladder, full box of 6. I'm happy
Then I see another box further down, grab that one too
Behind that box is another box, now I have to climb to get it. So 18 paks for $63.11
And one box has markings on it that explain the Clearance, they were supposed to go out for Halloween 2025 !!
