I fully expect to see a 1st gen hub when I open the box, but I'll bite. Warehouse/Resale is saturated with return fraud.

I'm with you, but we're splitting hairs when these easily exist to fulfil that void: https://a.co/d/0iinB6tE

I hate saying we're lucky we even got a new hub 10 years later, but yeah, I'll take the win. Been using one like this (not this brand I shared since mine is out of stock apparently) for months without issues and a similar one for the previous Hue Hub.

These are good too with a known name and switchable voltage out:

I've avoided upgrading my hubs since I have so much stuff set up. I guess we'll see how it goes.

That's probably why they now wait until they can confirm you returned the product before they issue you a refund. I recently returned a used item and had to wait a week.

$89.99 is still a good price.

Actually, I just saw one for $94.99, plus 15% off at checkout. Not sure if there are more available.

My last amazon resale delivery was a box of rocks. Would you believe they denied my return even though I was the one being scammed...

I've waited months to pick one up once they go on sale, I'm not going to bite at 10% off.

Well it was 20% off if you used the coupon. You keep holding for 24%.

Besides the presence tracking and support for extra devices, does the pro improve the average Hue setup? I have close to 50 lights, switches and sensors and there's still minimal lag. Very occasionally one of the hue buttons misses a press.
