Not everyone has had a good experience with these headphones from Secondipity, but I bought mine 2 years ago and they arrived like new. The box was generic, but all the accessories and the case were there. I use them every day, and they're still going strong after 2 years.

I got 2 Sony ult headphones from secondipity and they came in great condition. However these headphones are prone to breaking at the hinges and there is a lawsuit trying to start up against Sony involving these headphones specifically.

Yeah, if this was the XM4's I'd be interested, but I'm avoiding the XM5's specifically due to these hinge issues. Then again I had some XM4's that got stolen that I got when they were clearanced from Target for less than this and I really struggle to pay more for a refurb than I paid for brand new.

I have had mine 2.5 years and they finally broke. Got tape around one of the hinges 😂

This is the same price for a while. I know as I ordered it and it was in great condition except it was too loose. I assume most of the returns are for this reason. I would think it will get loose even if it's not in the beginning. It's a design flow with xm5. Do your own research.
