I bought mine a goodly number of years ago, perhaps close to 10, keeping it in a vehicle, although it's seldom used now. It's bright, I mean, BRIGHT, and it's a steal at this price. I can't imagine you'd be disappointed for 30 bucks + tax. Repped. I should point out that it's rather unwieldy given its size/shape, akin to a soda/beer can though smaller & not meant to be carried around a lot, I'd say. Still, it's a fine light.

It's not so bad. It has 3x more output, and a smaller size/weight than similar lights we had 15 years ago. It's downright tiny in comparison to past options, and cheap.

Sofirn's Q8 Plus on the other hand - I'd say that would match your comments perfectly! That thing is extremely bright, but quite a bit larger, and weighs at least 50% more. I found the SP36 Pro to be a bit weak when I had to do some emergency septic clog removal at night a couple weeks ago, and wanted the area lit well. The Q8+ was perfect. I have since forced myself to finally pick up a couple 20,000 lumen stand lights as I'm tired of going to my flashlights for such needs.

$30 is a great deal for the SP36 Pro. The last one I purchased was $31 as the lowest price. Q8+ best price I've seen was $42, for comparison. Both have their place, but I'd say the SP36 is pocket friendly.

Yeah the product page is kind of mess. I've seen 5 different specs listed: 361m, 400m, 423m, 426m, 450m.

So you get at least 361 meters, which is abut 395 yards.
