Is this better than piecing it together from the other deals?

AMP x VOLT = WATT

This inverter handles up to 10k watt. Like welder 120V below from Harbor Height. It OUTPUT 30 - 125 AMP. If you use 30 amp, it only take 3600 watt. Just don't use over the 10k watt, then you good. If you want to use more than 10k watt, add another inverter to parallel up to 20k watt.

This is an essentials kit, and well matched. You still want PV cabling, DC Breakers, etc. and all the small parts and copper add up fast. The PowerMega is new, so hasn't seen bargain pricing yet, should come later in summer or fall. It's cool and has fire extinguishers built in, 150A standard discharge with max 200A. Nice kit.
Edit: it would be a good idea to buy a panel tester, and test each panel. EcoWorthy is good about sending out replacements that don't measure up. I like the all black look on those.

Of course, if you know how to install yourself. If you don't, it is not easy to find professional installer for you. Because most of them want to sale you their equipments. So they could make money from it. They don't want just charge label only. But you could try to call local solar company ask them for installation.

You mean good about sending replacements for those that don't measure up or are you saying they'll commonly send out sub-par pannels?

I assume you meant the former, and that's good to know!

It's exciting to see how much better and cheaper the inverters and batteries are getting. I've been following this space for 5 years now.

Just imagine if they weren't tarrifed....

Sorry but your math is wrong. The output of this welder is 30-125 dc amps... In order to get that it must convert the ac to dc and then step the dc voltage way down to obtain those amperage ratings. The back of the welder states the max input AC amps as 23, which btw is above the rating most household 120v outlets. It probably only draws that much briefly on startup, using that brief startup amperage you have 120v X 23a = 2760 Watts MAX even on its highest 125DC amp setting.
