What about if you only want to hook it up to your TV and you know use it like a media center? I just want to have a computer hooked to my TV. Maybe watch some movies browse the internet.

It will certainly do that. You could also spend far less for a computer that will do that.

I can't comment on the quality of this computer, only that your requirements sound pretty basic so the processor and other components should theoretically be good for your purposes for a very long period of time.

If you're interested in Netflix or Disney+ or any other streaming app, it's hard to recommend this because their DRM prevents you from getting full quality 4K video. I think Disney+ even limits you to 720p.
But if you're just on YouTube, it'll probably work fine if be a bit overkill.

I almost bought this and then found a "better" deal on an 8745HS that I used the coupon instead. Shortly after buying, I relaxed it was probably a scam, and lost my coupon, and now the price has increased $20 as well. I didn't need either, but they would have sped up some work I'm doing and the price was right. Now I'm probably going to have to jump through hoops when my order doesn't ship, or worse when it does ship and I get a box full of crap.

But there are so many different coupons around, if you look into other posts about Aliexpress deals, seriously.
