If you're thinking of getting Divinity Original Sin 2, for less than $1 more, Source Saga is the better way to go. It includes DOS 1 Enhanced Edition and DOS 2 Definitive Edition. Totally worth it!

Metro Last Light for $0.99 imo is a great deal for a great game. The single player campaign is fun and I thought the story and characters were memorable. I usually don't play horror type games but this has my attention from beginning to end.

So I realized that I was missing Metro: Last Light Redux on my backup Steam account. To my surprise, Steam sells it to me for $0.69 instead of $0.99 since I already had Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Exodus in my library which were all part of the bundle that Steam was offering additional discounts for, so in essence Steam only charged me the unit price based on the total price of the bundle... Awesome 😎

According to the steam return policy, requesting a refund because the game is now cheaper is allowed. assuming you haven't played 2 hours yet.
Steam's return policy is really bad; don't count on it.

I just bought this one for $7.00 three days ago and thought that was a deal. I didn't even thing about the Spring Sale being around the corner.
How do you like it? Is it repetitive like most beat 'em up games?

If any of you are ever wondering if any of the deals are actually the best then I suggest using a website like https://isthereanydeal.com/

Great way to check and see prices (and price history) on games as well as a whole bunch of info like reviews, game versions, release dates, DLCs and if they are currently included in any subscription services or bundles. You can also waitlist games you are interested in and set up notification rules so that you get the best price available on a game you want.

Have you played Split Fiction yet? The follow up Co-op game by the same devs. It's also excellent.
So we actually went Backwards in their catalogue and are currently playing A Way Out. And since it takes us So Long to get through games, we'll be on that one for a while. ;P

Crosscode is an AMAZING game. Picture Terranigma, but faster, with the ability to swap between Short and Long Range, Elemental Spells, Significantly More Involved Puzzles, and an Engaging Story (With a slow start, but in that the comparison matches ;P), and you're most of the way there. Look at it, and if it even "Might" look like something you'd enjoy, jump on it. There's a Demo that gives you a (Very Brief) taste of the gameplay too.

Will second CrossCode being an AMAZING hidden gem. I first played it on Game Pass and was completely blown away by it. Didn't finish it though so I ended up buying it for Switch.

It's criminal that more people don't know about it and it doesn't get the recognition that it deserves.

Backup Steam account? Like if you get banned? Do you buy duplicates of every game?

Yes, but it depends which titles I decide to buy a duplicate of.

As can be seen above, I try and proselytize for it whenever I get the chance. ;P It was a game that I could not believe I'd somehow missed for so long, and it just feels So Fun to just Play, especially when you get "In the Groove" (I love the S Rank Music & Flow).

Bah. Is Elden Ring DLC EVER going to go on sale? Base game is on sale for 38.99. Great. Add the DLC, you are at 78.98 which is basically the non-sale bundle price.
Hey noobie here. Just bought the base game. Is the DLC a must?

It's excellent, but brutal. You can't even access it until you are around 75% of the way through the game, so play it to make sure you're still enjoying some of the difficult bosses found later in the game. If you aren't faring well by then, the DLC only gets harder.

How so ? Ice returned games days later because I just didn't like them or they ran bad long as the play time was under 2hrs never an issue
