This is the old version with the micro USB charging. Might want to go with 3S if you want the USB C rechargeable.

Personally speaking, this is my favorite mouse of all time. I have a couple of the 2s and the 3s. The shape of the 3s just doesn't feel comfortable in my hand. The 2s just feels perfect. For me it makes it worth it to keep a micro-usb charger on the desk just for this mouse. I haven't tried the 4s yet.

I don't get it, the Amazon page has this:

Frequently returned item: Check the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item.

I've been using it for 5 years and never had a problem, and I have a second one for traveling and the third one is a backup which I haven't needed because the battery is still going strong. I love the ergonomics and the free spin wheel so I can scroll fast to the bottom of the web page. I like that it has the ability to connect three different devices, at the bottom there's a switch. and I also never had an issue connecting to any of the PCs or laptops. I don't use any of the Side buttons on it so maybe maybe gamers buy it for the buttons and they're not comfortable for games and they return it - just a guess; I have been gaming for years and I am a programmer and never needed those buttons. I'm 5'10 so it's perfect for my hand but maybe for a smaller hand it's too big - I would suggest searching the reviews if you have any concerns.

How does it compare to the Logitech g502? I've always had the wires version of the g502 but I was wondering if there are any better mice out I should explore?

I am using 2S for last 4+ years and it still works great. only issue is the top part of shade off and not looking good when i am keeping at conf rooms at work.
Functionality wise there is NO issue even after using it for many hours on every single day for these many years.
Last week i bought the 3S refurb from Logi eBay store(shared link above) and here is the quick difference with 2S
  1. 3S clicks are quiet than 2S
  2. logi option have the new setup like "Action ring" - but not found much use to me
  3. 2S fits in my palm more comfy than 2S - but it may be due to 2S i used for 4+ years, and 3S only few days.. i think its ok
  4. big diff i see is Charging cable - for 3S i can use my Laptop/iPhone charger to charge 3S, a bit comfort

Went down the ergonomic rabbit hole, I was a very long time logitech user but their stuff has gotten extremely cheap feeling in the last few years. The latest 502 I tried felt awful (plastic-y, cheap), and the mx 4 has some pretty mixed reviews that gave me pause. Their keyboards used to be great, but at some point I started having to replace them every 2-3 years because a switch stops working and isn't replaceable. Just my 2 cents, but I got a Ducky keyboard and keychron mouse, both have been supreme for 2-3 years now.

I have 3 of these. They last a really long time on battery, great for office work and light gaming. I use usb-c for everything in the house except for these mice because it's worth it.

Very solid mouse, extremely comfortable. I personally prefer the 3S that I have at work but the 2S that I have at home is still rocking. Beware of the micro USB charging... The 2S should be cheaper than that by now though...

Having to turn the mouse over to switch devices is it's fatal flaw (and micro usb charging). 2S lives in my drawer as a backup, M720 is my favorite ($20ish).
