I was able to return the costco groupon directly with Costco. Since you are within 24hours you can probably return it through sams club customer service. If you have not redeemed it on groupon yet you can get a refund from them.

I always go for the basic membership. For those whose memberships expired more than 6 months, this is the process I did. My last sam's membership actually expired mid-September which is just over 6 months ago. I used all the same info: e-mail, physical address and same cell phone #. Along signing up, at least two times it got suspicious and said something along the lines of, "you look familiar.. do you want to renew your previous membership?". I said no both times. The 2nd time it said something like "you had an existing membership, do you want to renew it or create a new membership?". I chose the option to create a new membership. And then it worked.. again, using my existing email addr, phone, and physical address. It will show a new membership # which means you won't see any past history purchases, but I'm ok with that. Great deal at $15!
Sam's must be desperate for memberships to give these offers? I mean, throw a bone, and people will shop.. so in the end, they will still make some money.. otherwise, people just won't shop there (since this group of people like us SDers wouldn't pay the normal membership price anyways).

BJs is even more desparate. Costco is the only one that has more members than it needs.

I remember adding this on both Freedom and Sapphire cards but I am not seeing in either offers as added or expiring which is strange. I am not seeing it in the offers section anymore

Call the customer service, they will cancel your membership and refund this $110. You can do it anytime of your membership duration (even if you are 1 month from renewal, you can cancel and they will full refund).
