In order to make it a perfect tool, they can add a live voltage "beeper" (with a on/off switch) like the Fluke tester I already have. Then it can be used for finding circuit breaker as well.

Max 15 amp.
All my GFCI receptacles are 20amp per my codes. ymmv

This is just a socket tester. The Tripplett that was posted also allows you to use your clamp meter to measure current.

I believe that's referencing the maximum amperage of the appliance you plug into it to test. Not the rating of the receptacle itself.
