Regarding SPAM calls which are tough to deal with. Google Pixel's call screening is phenomenal and has basically prevented all SPAM calls from reaching me.

Speeds on all USA servers has absolutely cratered from 35MB/sc to 7MB/sec. With Nord or Proton I am getting 70MB/sec! The speeds didn't bother me though in as much as the unreliability. If you're on a Mac, kiss your computer goodbye. You will crash, kernel panic, and hard lock your computer constantly. Mark my words. It's all over the PIA reddit. I've sent them logs. I worked with PIAJohn (their senior engineer) and he couldn't figure it out.
Switched to Proton for 1 month ($1 deal) and was about to get a $2.50 a month deal for Proton until I saw the Nord deal and hopped on that instead. Got 1 year for $20 and now getting 2 more here for $38. So far Nord has been rock solid stable, though their app looks like shit. PIA's app was designed the best, compared to Proton & NordVPN, but it was just so damn unstable. PIA's split tunneling also disconnected your network connection permanently until you restarted.
Screw PIA. Even wrote Linus @ LinusTechTips a letter saying I am never trusting his recommendations ever again.

Be aware that ProtonVPN's split tunneling doesn't work on Mac either.
PIA's split tunneling on mac will crash your computer hard.
If you're expecting split tunneling for Mac, forget it.
