NordVPN Basic here is mainly a long term VPN extension that stacks cleanly onto existing subscriptions, including Plus accounts, and the activations can be redeemed separately under one Nord account. The strongest praise is for stability and ease of use, with solid speeds on some setups and working streaming access for services like Japanese Netflix and Apple TV abroad. Torrenting guidance points to Nord P2P servers, though SOCKS5 and Mac split tunneling are reported broken or missing. A few orders were canceled or lost the coupon, so the deal depends on checkout and activation working smoothly.

Thanks, OP.

Mine expired in may 2027. Confirmed it stacks up with the current sub. Though I'm not sure if it works if u have a different plan. I wasn't even sure which plan I have. But it added my sub from may 2027 to may 2028. So I guess mine is NordVPN Basic.

I've had Nord for years, my only complaint is that they've made it next to impossible to find where to contact Support when those infrequent issues do happen. There used to be a link right from the client.

Still wondering how "Basic" and "Premium" now mean the same thing though. 🙄

They have apps for Android and IOS but I'm not sure it will help with your spam calls though.

NordVPN Basic only covers the VPN portion for devices. NordVPN Complete has a new feature with spam calls, but it only notifies you if the number is from a known spam call listing or if they're a telemarketer/fundraiser etc. Android only at the moment.

I currently have a "plus" membership from a previous SD deal, which I don't truly use as I don't use the password manager.

Can this basic stack onto the plus and activate its basic level at the end of the plus?

If you currently have Nord Basic plan and upgrade via one of these vouchers to an upgraded plan (Plus), how does that work with my current plan?

SOCKS5 is broken for almost 2 months now. Support twiddling their thumbs. Don't use NordVPN for bittorrent purposes.

In for 2 - I hear they stack, right? If you buy two, can you stack them for two years?
Stacking works. Had 6 months remaining, was able to stack 2 separate codes for 2 years on top of the 6 months.

Guessing "basic" version won't allow port forwarding - curious if anyone had success with that

Did you have to use 2 separate newegg accounts to buy the 2 nordvpn codes? It won't let me get the discount on the 2nd order under the same account that I bought the first code with.
