One of my least favorite tools. Used it on drywall and it was all over the place. I ended up selling it.

Was it the type of tool you didn't like or the performance of this brand vs others? Do you have experience with similar tools from other brands that you could share a comparison?

I haven't used this one in particular but I have used others and it vibrated so much that it was hard to get a straight line. Also threw dust everywhere, literally everywhere. Is this one like that? I don't know for sure but they are all pretty similar. I'd only use this in new construction where everything is dirty. You'll probably be finding a thin layer of dust over everything if you use this in a finished house.

i have ryobi everything from drill, table saw, flash night, and even glue gun. this is the worst tool in the line up. I was installing ceiling speakers thinking it was a good idea to get this so that i can cut some holes out. i like power tools which it supposed to make it easy, and don't have to use any strength to saw with a hand saw. Boy, i was so wrong. I have never seen a tool that make that much mess. it will kinda drill a hole, but you can never expect to go straight or to any where you want. the dry wall dust is every where. This can get an Olympic gold metal of spreading dry wall dust. with the battery, it's just too heavy to do anything longer than a few minutes. I ended up getting a hand saw, and could do all 5 of them faster than using the cut-out tool on just one. DO NOT BUY! Don't say i didn't warn you.
