Bought one of these for a friend a few months ago, working great so far - Don't use the Flashforge fork of Orca though, it has issues with Z-offset that are still unfixed, and your layer 1 will have major problems. Either use standard Orca, or Flashmaker.

Probably the best bang for the buck printer for ~$160 or lower. Cashback drops it even lower. I have almost 3k hours between a 5m and 5x. Only issue was 1 faulty hot end and my user error, with great print quality.

I'm a newby to 3d printing and this is my 1st printer. I gotta say it's been a dream. I've been printing an enclosure for it. Then I can move onto making actual things... Like silencers Wink

There has been fierce competition in the consumer-level 3D printer market in recent years, as many people want Bambu printers. This has brought down the prices considerably. These printers are usually not more likely to require spare parts than more expensive ones, and the parts that need to be replaced from time to time are mostly inexpensive (hotend parts, fans etc.). You'll probably spend most money on filament, which has also become quite cheap though (at least standard PLA/PETG).

Not at all.... Flashforge has been around a while, and they're clearing stock for their new line. They're a fairly well known brand that just doesn't get as much attention because they don't actively compete with every other brand... They aren't making a printer with the largest build size, most colors, or quickest benchy.
