FYI. I have to format the memory card on this one when it's full. I do not see where to set it to overwrite if full. I might have to do it about once a week….32 GB card.

The battery in my 5 years old Viofo 1080p is bad. The date is always reset after engine stop. I decided to buy this one, too because it does use STARVIS2 lens compared to other cheap options on Amazon.
This item goes on sale every month now. I bought it during last month's sale, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality. I'm curious to see how well it holds up during the Texas summer. I've only installed the front camera and switched it to 2K mode in 5 minute loop. I'm not using the Wi-Fi or app, I'm just planning to rely on the memory card.

Had the same thought initially, but I've bought two of these now after binge-watching hundreds of videos from Dashcam Nation and the like on YouTube. 😅 They're terrific!
