I think this is the lowest the 16" version has ever been. Back in December, the 14" was at this price and hit a +61 Frontpage score.

Doesn't look very padded. Can any current owners comment towards this? Looking for a sleeve but was leaning towards tomtoc.

I own this model and use it for my M1 16" MacBook Pro. The material is actually quite thick and protects the laptop well. I think think neoprene protects better for falls, but this one has good quality material.

yeah waiting on the tomtoc personally, but the reviews on here were good.
