Not really 53 bucks for original price. The one pack regular price is 19 and change so two pack would be under 40 so it's a slight deal.

If you're experiencing the heatwave, it's already too late to apply. If you're cold now, and soil temps are below 60F, apply asap.

This will kill any new growth if you overseeded on the fall.

You're probably right. Scotts does make a pre-emergent that is compatible with new growth. However, it only gives 6 weeks of prevention, rather than 3 months like this product does.

Yeah. Look for wdg65 prodiamine. 5lbs for $79. Should be good for about 1lb per acre give or take, depending on need.

You need a liquid sprayer though. But the investment in that quickly pays you back since $79 gets you more and better coverage

Never hear of the stuff, but my lawn needs help. Going to go on a whim and try it. Will need to read up on this stuff.

Stock up on fertilizer while you can. The price of oil directly impacts fertilizer production. It's already hitting farmers hard.

I'm way down South. I don't get wanting my grass to grow anymore than it already does.

Its much better than this scotts crap. Buy your self a small scale so you can weigh the amount. That's the tricky part. Mix in a bucket well before putting into the sprayer.

Pro tip. Apply at 1/2 the rate about a month apart... that's called split apps for all season coverage

Usually in North Carolina it's safe to just put this down by Valentine's Day, but we had some ridiculously warm days (80s) which is all the crabgrass needs to start sprouting and once it does it's over nothing you can do about it except post-emergent with Quinclorac. That works well, but the year is so much easier when getting the pre-emergent down in time instead.
