Please read up on how many The Nines and The Sevens owners have had to replace the internal amp/crossover/computer .

The amp/computer board was $375, then $500 from Klipsch, but now that they are no longer in stock, the price is $700-900 from any dealer that still has them.

If the price falls any lower, people will be buying them just to harvest the boards.

This is a great deal for these speakers. Yes, you can find some good speakers for half the cost, but for these specifically this is a great deal
Side note though, the app kind of sucks. And for whatever reason my speakers will be on occasionally when I go into the basement, despite turning them off days prior.

Own them. They are excellent. Definitely recommend at this price. Make an insane soundbar alternative thanks to their connectivity.

This is a great deal. I bought them at 799 from them. That said, the box arrived as if it had been dropped and blown up. I suspect that these are warehouse errors.

Thankfully, the speakers work.

Good speakers. They are kind of bright. Put a filter -4dB Q 0.9 at 16000 Hz.

I have edifier S1000DB's for bookshelf speakers, but they are pretty nice for the price. How would these compare in terms of audio quality for the price? Does the difference amount to subtleties or is it massive? Thanks.

There is literally no better deal in audio right now. These and the 12 or 14 RP sub, and you're golden. It's not as good as what you could get for $10k, but it's as good as what you can get for $5k and often more.

Massive. I don't preach Klipsch much, but their RP series seems nice. These seem nicer. I used to have ELACs and it's a completely different league than Edifiers

If you like to play music LOUD, these are going to be a massive upgrade. Way more power, much bigger drivers, much bigger speakers altogether. At lower volumes, I still think these will sound better, but the difference is not going to be as night and day.

Same experience. I think it was the driver dropping the box because of the weight and working alone. These should be delivered with 2 people.
