Also interested in any feedback. I've been looking for some entry level trail shoes for walks/hikes, and these seem like a pretty good option.

RunRepeat does terrific reviews. They give this a middling rating, but high for a very budget shoe. Their greatest con is they have awful durability and traction. Otherwise they seem to be good for casual use - I wouldn't train in them but maybe I'd use them for airport travel, hospital use, etc.

Would these be reasonable as a casual pair of shoes for hiking? Simple <3 miles.
Or should I save money and just buy regular road running shoes for these scenarios?

My fair price calculation is to divide the original price by 3 for Adidas shoes.

Listing is for the TR(trail) version of these so hopefully they have better traction than the review notes.

These will work fine for casual hiking, but I would not recommend for running. Not much support or cushion. Good traction on the soles for the price. I usually wait for a good deal on their terrex line instead for hiking, my last pair lof terrex lasted 12+ months of daily wear, hiking, and mountain biking regularly.

They are excellent as walking shoes. As other reviews mention, i don't think they are great running shoes and also don't have great traction as i experienced first hand in the recent snow. But for walking around a city or a garden, these feel great. I also started looking into the ortholite material they have on these to see if that has any effect on the walking.

I bought these to use at the gym and they work well across cardio equipment, machines and free weights. I don't run or train outdoors with these but for my purposes, they're good value for $35.
