I wonder if this would hold up to a smash-and-grab as well as a PacSafe. I like to stop on the way home and have my laptop, tablet, etc. in the car. I'm worried about someone breaking in and just looking for something to grab.

Sure, I can put in a lockbox, or hide it in the trunk, but I want something as simple as just padlocking to a cable I already have in there.

This brand is being pushed heavily lately. If you are looking for a bag.. just buy one you really love. It's more so about your entire look traveling vs just your backpack having slash proof straps. Don't look like a rich tourist and you have less of a chance of being a target. As in try not to be flashy and look like you're clueless walking around. I've found that it's all how you carry yourself and what you're wearing that will deter thieves.

The bottom line is a bag marketed like this "anti-theft" will only do so much, use your brain when traveling and fit in. Happy travels!
