This is about the best price you're gonna get so if you're in the market this is a buy it now price.

It was less than this on a deal of the day at Lowe's, but that sold out by like 11AM.

Why does the text under Deal Details say $99? I only see $149. Have looked at the site at the sale ad do not see any way it gets down to $99? Misprint here on SD or am I missing something?

It's surprising how much difference the hydraulic makes this tool. I recently had to do some work under my house, and any of my other impacts would have made it uncomfortable loude in such a confined space. This thing was nothing. At this price this is a no brainer.

Is it worth the price premium when you can just wear ear protection? Even if you use these tools to make a living you are generally working in a loud environment anyway.

Yes. It's worth it. It's such a pleasant tool to use. I don't think at $149 there's much of a premium.

Yep, I bought one from Lowe's for $10 less ($139) than the current sale price. Great impact driver and significantly quieter than non hydraulic drivers.

They are very nice. They were $99 at Lowes Deal of the day minus 10% military and 7% cash back.

I read the the 845 is more powerful, albeit much louder?

It really depends on what you are going to use it for and if you think you need the extra power. I have this one and plan on using it for some fencing I am going to put up. I do not need massive power. Even a high end drill/driver from DeWalt can drive lag bolts to a significant degree. The sound elimination due to the hydraulics seems to be debated on the internet, you can check it out. So it comes down to money, noise, and what you plan on doing with it.
