There 200 versions of this all made in the same factory. The $4 one is the same quality of this one FYI

A bit different, it's 11/17 TPI but yes, the quality should be definitely the same.

this exact design can be seen all over Amazon, Temu, Ali, etc; just a case of Chinese manufacturers copying each other's designs and competing for marketing/cost. That said - they're not terrible. Admittedly, I seldom use mine over other pull-saws I have, but something like this is great to leave in the car to cut basically anything non-metallic.

Not challenging you but legitimately curious: what a good one that's not much more?

i use the Milwaukee folding saw. Lenox also makes one. it can utilize any reciprocating saw blades. easily changes out. it's not flexible though.

Hmm, since all the Chinese knock-offs look very similar, I can get 3 at $4 each for the price of this.
I hope the teeth do not fall off when using it, which one other of similar make and design had in a review...

A Gyokucho flush trim saw would be geniune Japanese made. Around $15 to $16 currently on Amazon, but you can find them cheaper from time to time.
