I have 4 of these and three of them don't turn on for more than 3 hours on dim. Either the charging system is bad or the batteries are duds. What pieces of shit. Also, do not believe the reviews. Some talk about customer support. There is none. Amazon is CS and they try to replace them, but it is definitely a hit or miss on the batteries or the charging system. For the initial charge, there is not usb-c. You will need sunlight to charge them and they take forever and like I said 3 out of 4 are duds.

These are a crapshoot and you get what you pay for. I bought 4 of these about 3 months ago. 2 of them failed within the first week. It's tempting to think that they're so cheap that it's worth the gamble... but you're gonna invest time setting them up and then a bunch of time trying to figure out if it's not working because you set it up incorrectly or if it's actually a dud. I recommend avoiding these.

These solar motion flood lights are best for simple outdoor path and porch lighting, with motion detection that turns on smoothly and brightness that can match pricier options. The separate solar charging works well in partial shade, and the lights are easy to mount and detach. Real world durability is uneven, though, with reports of weak batteries, short runtimes, warped panels, and little weather sealing. Setup also requires turning them on manually, and the lack of a USB charging port or clear safety certification stands out. A practical pick when placement and price matter most.

  • The lights can provide usable illumination for walking around a house at night.

  • The lights can work well in partial shade for a shed or front porch area.

    monkeybiz

  • The solar lights can charge and run for a short trial period without issues in summer sun.

    RandyL6465

  • The lights can be easy to mount and detach for repositioning around a yard.

    monkeybiz

  • The deal checkout experience can be confusing because the promo code may not apply automatically.

    WooHoo2YouArkile

  • The lights may fail to turn on after charging, suggesting battery or charging system problems.

    AquaWinter4340

  • The solar panel can warp or bend within about a year or sooner.

    Raccoonish

  • The LED panels may lack weather sealing, which can leave them vulnerable to direct rain exposure.

that was a steal, these work great here, even in partial shade. Yes, no charge port but they were mostly charged and worked fine, even in partial shade.. TBD, the oaks haven't leafed out yet but it's perfect for the shed and tool area. And the one on the front porch gets half a day of sun and avoids lawsuits from someone falling on my porch steps.

I have partial shade and a similar light that works.. I was trying to avoid SD and Prime but these are handy to have. And I found Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean on sale to add to the order.. -35% $14.86
$0.42 per ounce($0.42 / ounce) yummy
It's really helpful to know that it works well in partial shade. I'll keep an eye out for any Lavazza deals too. Sounds like a great combo! Appreciate the extra tip.

yes so far so good but I do wish it had a rechargeable USB port of some kind, just in case, it's easy to mount and detach. I have bad ADD so I jump around on topics... the coffee was my guilt trip for Prime deliveries.. my long dirt driveway has huge potholes so want to make the trip for them worthwhile. Embarrassment
