Turns out this is wrong. If you look up the sds sheets for powerwash and all other dawn products you'll find the powerwash contains a powerful solvent not present in other dawn products "Dipropylene Glycol Butyl Ether". Making your own may be an acceptable substitute for the price, but it will not clean as effectively the original.

Dawn platinum and any other dawn products is missing the most important solvent thst makes powerwash work so well (Dipropylene Glycol Butyl Ether). This recipe may work okay but it will not perform as well as the original.
