while lowes is 2.0cf the scotts earthgro 1.5cf mulch is a much denser and higher quality mulch. weighing both bags the scotts is almost twice the weight. prob water but i think scotts mulch looks better too.

I know depeonds on the area, but i bought this last year and it was terrible. I was annoyed because i expected it would be better than the Lowe's stuff, but it was worse

In my area , NC . I have used both and the Lowes mulch seems better than the HD Scotts. 2 years ago, I bought the Lowes deal, Last year bought the Scotts deal because the Lowes black was sold out. Back to Lowes this year and that .5 makes a big difference after 100 bags.

I got 2cf 4/$10 from tractor supply. Their mulch quality is far superior than what I have got from HD in the past. Absolutely recommend to check at Tractor supply if it's close by.

not a deal. there's no point in getting this when Lowes is $2 each @ 2cu ft. And with the bucket deal you can get very cheap delivery. Mulch quality is the same; color lasts only for a few weeks before it starts to fade. Home Depot: nice try but Lowes is eatin your lunch

I think it might depend on location. I needed 2 extra bags from Lowe's and it was free delivery for me in NJ.

Bucket deal doesn't work for everyone. It doesn't around me. Tried all kinds of combinations
