The battery is non replaceable. It lasts about 2 years and then you throw it away. Kind of seems wasteful. There is a guide of someone using CR-2025 coin batteries as a replacement. Which makes me think why Tile just didn't do that. More ewaste.

There are similar brands where you can charge with QI. I have one and works great in my wallet
