Nobody can make a movie worthy of the original Ghostbusters, not even everyone who worked on the original Ghostbusters a handful of years later and basically remade the first one. Every take has been too much of a "take" without embracing the sheer lightning in a bottle goofiness and sense of wonder of the original, while also lifting so much of the original they don't actually inhabit their own space, and you can't serve two masters.
