IMO this would be like complaining the lake is wet when deciding against going to swim there but jumping in the ocean head first....when it is equally as wet.
And I don't know what Fiver has to do with anything. Either you trust the reviews or you don't, you can't cherry pick which are magically trustworthy (your goalpost) just because they suit your narrative, then throw out the rest because they harm your case. Nor does the possibility of fake reviews suddenly make the reviews fake. My left sock could have created the universe....but did it? Just because the remote possibility exists does not mean it is certain, or even likely.

2) Would you agree Amazons reviews are way overinflated? Does ever review suggest ownership? I have seen and purchased a lot of 4-5star Crap - So I would say I have a bit of experience with Amazon Quality and how to navigate there offers
3) IMHO: Review distribution does not suggest legitimacy. Nor does a similar distribution suggest the product is a Generic of a 'Gold Standard' name brand.

As far as accuracy, both seem equally as inaccurate as the other. 10-20% swing compared to my Samsung Smart watch, which seems dead on accurate on my HR, SpO2, and steps as counted by my watch (which seems to line up nearly perfectly when visiting a doctor or pace counting myself for the steps)
And just my opinion, if you've bought 3, and keep returning them, you may be the problem since you are shopping for a 4th but haven't learned that nothing will suddenly meet your expectations.
2) Perhaps online reviews, in general, are overly inflated, that is why I offered to opposing sets of reviews, one for this product, and one for a Samsung (again, a highly regarded alterative ). Both rings have similar complaints and review ratios...and should be equally "iNfLaTeD" per your logic. They should be both measured off the same iNfLaTeD yardstick...right? A simple compare and contrast; using one set of reviews as a 'control' against the other. What better method do you suggest?????
3) So what does? What better method do you suggest????? Your yardstick keeps moving. We are supposed to trust the reviews you cherry pick, but no others. How do you find the magical real reviews when the rest of us mere humans can't? Otherwise you've offered no other measure except the one you only accept when convenient to your narrative.
FWIW, I've been shopping on Amazon since 2004 and likely spend 60-100K over the years (was 40K when I exported my totals in 2018-ish). So "I would say I have a bit of experience with Amazon Quality and how to navigate there offers."
