Yes, Guardians of Azuma is not a Switch 2 exclusive, so this game will work on a Switch 1. However, the Switch 1 version is cheaper at $38.97.

Personally, I'd pay the extra dollar for the Switch 2 version in case you decide to upgrade the console.

This game (Switch 2 version) was $17 at Target a couple weeks back (clearance but seemed to be the case at multiple targets). Might be worth checking Target before buying here

Was going to post the same thing. Got a copy myself. Actually didn't know that it would work on S1, since don't have the 2 yet - so good to know.
