38x70 is a good size table, especially for a narrow room. Very unusual to see a put-together table with a leaf. Certainly a good deal, but anyone could easily exceed the 100 lb weight limit.

It's a table, not a ladder. Don't use a table as a ladder and don't use a ladder as a table. Two distinctly different items for distinctly different jobs. Buy one of each.
