Eufy app is a nightmare. Updates are released without any testing. The paying customer is the testor and guinea pig. Terrible support, terrible and incompetent engineers who write code for the app and firmware updates. Suppport doesn't have a clue. See the negative reviews complaining. Look elsewhere and avoid this crap!!!
Disagree.
I was an early adopter of Eufy and their system is very alive and well at my locations.
One thing is that it does take a minute to get used to the app. I don't dislike it but, it's not as intuitive as systems like Ring...that said, I get way more coverage, versatility, and options with Eufy.
Love Eufy products! I have the doorbell camera, outdoor solar camera, indoor camera, and pet camera with treat shooter. No monthly fees is a definite plus. I've never needed support so can't comment on that. Next purchase will be the colored outdoor lights.

You most likely don't use the Homebase3 with your cameras. Their upper level support finally acknowledged that the February 28 update for their security cameras had problems. Another update was released March 5 but, though improved, it was still not fully tested and still had problems. Read all the reports of problems on reddit and the poor support. Eufy is now saying they are working on a new update. It's been almost a month and still the problems persist. This same screwed up scenario occurred back in October 2025 when an untested broken update was released with the same experience.

I agree. Never had any issues with the app or the products.
I did have one outdoor floodlight/camera have a light go out, but they replaced the unit without any questions.
They even told me to keep the old one (I used it in another corner of the house where the lack of light was not as big a deal.

Agree. Eufy arbitrarily killed their Eufy plugs which made my plug useless as a brick. The s3 camera doesn't capture all events it detects. It is ok for very basic stuff but...

What issue?
I have a Home Base 3, deadbolt and 9 cameras (4 flood light cameras, doorbell camera, 3 wired camera, and a solar camera).
Only real issue I have is one of my indoor cameras will occasionally disconnect and have to unplug it to reset (and twice have had to delete and reinstall it).

Lucky you. Are you running the most recent updated Eufy app? You can also read the most recent negative reviews for the updated Eufy app in the Play Store.
