- EX6400 v1 / v2 → Fully supported and work well (Qualcomm/ath10k, stable WiFi)
- EX6400 v3 → Will flash and boot OpenWrt, but WiFi does not work
The v3 uses a MediaTek MT7629 platform, and currently there's no working WiFi driver in OpenWrt. Ethernet works, but it basically ends up as a wired-only device, which defeats the purpose of using it as an extender/AP.Make sure to check the hardware version before buying—v1/v2 are solid, v3 is not usable for wireless (at least for now).
