I have had this for this model for the last 4 years and has not failed me. I use it once or twice a month on project around the house and it has held up just fine.
Been using this for about a week, ozone smell has mostly gone. However have noticed that the chuck will undo itself and release your drill or bit.... Unless you tighten it down with some strength.
Edit 4/15/26: Attempted to exchange this drill for another, as the chuck keeps releasing drill & torx bits. This is the first time Amazon has NOT offered to replace an item. I tried to contact "KIMO", their customer service phone number rings then disconnects, their customer service website is dead, and their numerous active websites are busy selling product, with ZERO links to customer service. KIMO ((supposedly)) offers a 2-year warranty on their tools; all you need do is get in contact with them, which appears impossible. Looks like their Warranty = BS.
