The AOVOPRO app for Android quit working months ago though, it won't launch. You need the mobile app to activate the lock and set the max speed (up to 16mph btw for cruise control, the scooter can go faster down a hill though)
I noticed the Walmart listing shows 21 MPH. I wouldn't trust anything other than the "manufacturer."

I've heard the quality of Xiaomi's is supposed to be better than these knockoffs, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. In the many years and ~1500mi I've put on each, I've had to replace the accelerators several times as well as the handlebar pivot bolt on one and each of the rear fenders once or twice. The taillights on both since the light wire runs under the rear fender and gets chewed up by road debris over time. I've noticed no noticeable range degradation, but it's not like it's got a dash like an EV that tells you how much you've lost. Replacement parts are inexpensive, but if you were considering a used scooter that needs a little work vs this, this price is a no-brainer.
I notice these come with solid tires, so I wonder how the ride quality is. That's been the biggest deterrent for me to switch to solids even though I dread fixing flats on these things.
Edit: it looks like these come with front shocks which probably greatly improve the solid tire vibration.
Thanks for sharing this. Can I ask what speed your's rates at? The listing for this one (in multiple stores) says 22mph, but their direct website clearly states 25km (15mph). I live in a pretty safe suburb of Chicago with great roads, so I have less concern about the tires at this point along my envisioned commuting routes (from home to the grocery store etc). But 15mph to 22mph is a big jump in my opinion and worth causing me to reconsider unless someone with real-world travel experience on these in my type of scenario can advise otherwise.
