I have to file for myself and my son who is a student and works part-time. I'm not sure if, once I complete my filing, I must download state for my kid's filing and if that would be $39.99 with H&R Block Software?
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you don't have any specific form, Free Tax USA is perfect. It was very friendly and smooth. It even supports rental and K-1 forms for non-PTPs, which is usually a premium on other softwires.
I am now switched to OLT which is also free, and supports K-1 for PTPs. However, I won't call it user friendly. But it is very comprehensive.
