Lately? I remember when the Peerless Assassin was regularly below $30, even below $25. Vs. the recently posted "SE" model, you get the "caps" and no ugly (?) non-uniform exposed heat pipe ends protruding (if that's what you need). Might be worth the extra couple of dollars in a "windowed" build.

Well I'm on Team 360 AIO's. You just get spoiled with ThermalRights prices for AIO's.

I keep my desktop around a lot longer than most. So, I'm fine with air. Generally quieter as well. Downside? Size around the cpu socket. I'm using a Phantom Spirit 120 SE (ugly? tips) to cool my 9900x (which doesn't require much).

Maybe buy two just in case, I've seen too many problems come in with the Thermalright AIOs. The air coolers are great, other than models with slim fans (those fail a lot). This V3 is usually around $36, slight deal.

If it matters to you, OP v3 uses S-FDB Bearing on fans while "Extrem" uses dual ball bearing fans.
