Typhur Sync Gold Lite is a wireless meat thermometer that stands out for accurate readings, reliable app connectivity, and strong range for grilling and smoking. The five sensors test spot on in ice water and boiling water, and the app can automatically set meat and doneness targets. The probe also handles sous vide, griddling, and dishwashing, with the Gold version rated for higher heat than the lighter models. The main cautions are coupon setup quirks, possible ambient temperature limits in a smoker, and occasional charging or predictive done ness issues. A capable pick if you want app guided cooking with extra sensor coverage.

Select Typhur Inc as the seller, and if the Amazon app fails, try checkout in a web browser while logged into your account. The discount may not appear immediately, but a green confirmation and the lower total should show after the code is accepted.
This deal is for the first-gen Typhur Sync Gold Lite, while the dual and quad versions use different probe generations and the Gold series is the long-range version. The Gold probes are reported to handle higher ambient heat than the Gen 1 probes, but the Lite is still praised for accuracy and convenience.
Yes. The Lite and other Sync models are reported to pair with the app consistently, with no dropped signal even around 50 feet away through obstacles. The app also auto-sets meat and doneness parameters when you start a cook.
Not safely by itself. The bottom half of the sensor needs to stay fully encased in food or another heat buffer, and it can be damaged if exposed directly to smoker heat above about 210-215°F.
Yes. One unit passed ice-water and boiling-water checks with all five sensors spot on, and another was described as reading correctly in normal use. The main caveat is that predictive doneness can be off, so it is best used as a guide rather than the only cue.

Lol I don't think I've ever needed more than 2 though..
My opinion is that for texas style smoking, the ambient temperature sensor is actually more important than the probe since you can probe whenever you want. But for other applications - steaks, large roasts in your oven, or used in combination with a good ambient thermometer - wireless is pretty dang awesome. Also: new barbecue toys - in for the 4 pack.
