Wish it had side vents but at least it has inner thigh vents. No clips from the looks of it at the bottom by the hem but it does have elastic.

Only 30% off at the end of the season, not that hot of a deal.

Snow gear regularly gets marked 50-70% off at end of season

Obviously everyone is different, but even during spring skiing I would rather have insulated pants. I feel like this move to shell pants is just a way to sell more product; my friends who have these seem to always be cold.

I was just at Snowbird last week way overheating in insulated pants and was wishing for something just like this. It was 59 degrees at the summit!

Honestly, those conditions looked miserable. How often do you ski them? That's jean weather.

I was at Stratton where it was in the 40s (which I would consider pretty warm), and my friends with only shells were cold at the top.

We go to Utah every year for 5 days to ski/ride Snowbird and Brighton, as they are both great for families. It was during the southwest USA heatwave last week, usually is dumping snow those weeks. I rode in a tshirt most days, only cold getting off the tram with the wind up there... Stratton is on my bucket list to check out...

They had a base layer under the shell, right? That's common sense.
