I found that the AirPod Pro 3s weren't staying in my ear, especially when I would talk on calls. I tried multiple sizes of the Apple tips and then read about Comply. I tried them but had a similar problem where they'd still work their way out of my ears (esp my right) after a few minutes. Tried multiple sizes including different sizes per ear but couldn't get them to stay snug. I ended up getting this set from Azla and I'm really happy with them. They're slightly tacky to the touch, which I think helps them stay in, and I'm able to maintain a good acoustic seal with them. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GL1YGCSY

Foam tips are the only tips I use. They may hurt your ears, but that's not universal. Silicone or plastic tips make my ears itch/burn after a few moments.

That's your personal experience. I'll take my foam ones any day over the stock silicone ones. I fall asleep with them on

I found my air pod pro 2 almost unusable - I got the sonic foam brand which made these the best air buds I've ever owned.

Just as a counter statement to this one, I truly love comply foam tips other than the fact that they're expensive and you can get random Chinese tips for much cheaper. For non-AirPods earbuds (AirPods have a full pass-through hole in them and rely on active noise cancelling) foam tips are incredible. I walk around hearing truly nothing but music, like I'm wearing industrial strength earplugs, when I use foam tips with my other random corded earphones.When your ears hurt, it's about a tip shape that disagrees with your ear shape, not a material. There is a shape of foam tips that will work for anyone, whether or not they're sold is another story.
