Creality gets credit for helping make mainstream 3d printing possible/popular but they have been left behind and haven't adapted and upgraded like several of the other companies who jumped in since. I don't know a lot about this specific "s1 pro" but the ender series in general is less desirable than several other companies/models now in the budget printer area.

While I understand this is brand new, I got an Anycubic Kobra S1 refurbished (from Anycubic themselves) for $220, and it's a full Core XY printer, not a bedslinger like this one. It's much faster, has better print quality, a multicolor option, and a really great user experience. At this price, I don't think this is a great deal. Especially because for $167 there's a flashforge AD5M that's also core xy and better print quality compared to this.

While not a bad printer, you can get a V3 for a lot less and is much more capable.

Don't do it! Manual bed leveling is a PITA. You can pick up refurbished ender 3 v3 plus for less on ebay dirdct from creality.

How bad is manual bed leveling? (Sounds like a dirty phrase). So do you have to manually move the head to diff positions and press the down button until it reaches the plate?
