Despite all the supposed nutrients, I never feel healthier after eating a bowl of this. It's delicious but only because of the sugar.

Since when 14.7 oz. a Large size now? Cereal boxes standard size used to be 18 oz then they downsized to whatever amount they wanted and kept the price. Now somehow this small box of 14.7 oz is a Large size.
Inflation and Shrinkflation has affected cereals the most.

yeah this is NOT a deal at this price. last year we were getting the 18oz for under $3. And since when is 14.7oz Large??? this is ridiculous.

This is candy in cereal form with bunch of added random vitamins. This something you eat despite how unhealthy it is, why would you feel healthier?

99% of all cereal out there have a ton of sugar.
The 1% that do not, unfortunately, cost 2-3x the price of a typical cereal.

Don't mean to TC but keep in mind the normal box of this cereal is 11.4 oz. I routinely buy it at this size at several grocery stores near me when they go on sale (Safeway and Smart and Final) for $1.99 (17.46 cents/oz) or $1.79/box (15.7 cents/oz). As other's have mentioned they slap a "Large" size logo on the box but at 14.7oz (25.78 cents/oz) your really not getting much of a deal at all.

11g of sugar - some of which is from the strawberries - is not THAT much.
Fortified cereals are great for low-income families who don't get a lot of vitamins from their diet, and for pregnant women who benefit greatly from iron & folate but struggle to get meat down during the first trimester nausea.
Thanks for posting, OP

Agreed! I believe the correct term IS called "shrinkflation." It's when the price stays the same but the size of the packaging goes down. They've been doing this for decades now... Here's a link to Meh's Shoddy Goods article on it: https://shoddygoods.meh.com/p/the...dium=email It's a good read. 🙂
