Are these lids safe to air dry? I feel like the little gaps can trap water and cause moldy issue so I dry it by sticking Q tips into it. Am I just paranoid?

Maybe they should change their name to Glassmade.

I like the look of these when I see them in store, but I have too many Pyrex/Snapware containers to buy these. I like the interchangeability of the lids on all the Pyrex stuff, don't want containers with specific lids at this point

Can anyone attest to whether and how well the glass ones nest when not in use? It's annoying that Rubbermaid (on Amazon or their own site) doesn't bother to have any photos of the containers nested. Do I really need to see a photo of them stacked with food and the same exact photo of them stacked empty? How big do they think my kitchen is that I can afford to stack them all in my cabinet with the lids on when I'm not using them?

FYI, set of three 4.7 cup also on 90-day low price.

Yes. I been using them for years and leave them out to dry on dish rack. Never have any issue.

Yes, just dry completely before putting away.

When mine come out of the dishwasher (top rack), I tap them on the sink a few times to get any water out of the cracks, then let air dry on the counter before storing. I've never had issues.

I think the lids are designed for superior airtightness. I don't know how other modern brands are, but I have high standards on everything, and this Brilliance glassware line comes near top rated (competitors for top were non-glass) at Consumer Reports (score: 93/100) and performs great in my kitchen. The glass can go in the oven/microwave/fridge/freezer, airtight, doesn't leak. Glass is microplastic free. Fewer microplastics accumulating in brain and man-testosterone-makers over time. Also, microplastics contribute to cancer.

These are amazing containers. I own several of the plastic ones but going to start transitioning to the glass ones.

The plastic ones, they create a total seal, you can turn it upside down with liquid inside, and it will not leak. I expect the glass ones work identically.

Op, thanks for posting this deal.

edit: for those mentioning about trapped water - I hand wash this container / lid, I use them after they are thoroughly air dried, typically overnight.

I bought two of these on sale at target. They are nice and big and roomy to fit my lunches. So with these airtight / leakproof lids, you're right, mold can be a problem. I've had mold problems before with the lock and lock brand. Make sure to let them air dry for several days. As for stackability, I don't think they can stack as in you put one on a shelf without a lid on and then you put the other one right on top of it -- it doesn't work like that. Also, you should note that these are not made out of borosilicate glass, so they may shatter if you do extreme temp changes.

I don't have a picture. The glass ones of this size do stack, but not as well as the older plastic Rubbermaid Premiere version. Figure no more than 40% of the height of one container stacks into the container below it. You'll also have to solve the lid storage issue.

as mentioned in the previous reply - these do sort of nest. But they can also get stuck to each other while nested... and when you take one out of the other - the bottom one can get chipped. Overall, I've been using these for many years (got them from SD), and am very happy with the product.

Careful, they crack at the mold seems on the bottom. We have had them swapped out 3 times and they all end up doing it on the bigger ones. Went and scored old school Pyrex at a thrift sale and all is well in thew world, minus it's crumbling around us, war, and everything is unaffordable lol.
