I live in Philly - even free over the air broadcasts will get blacked out if tickets don't reach a certain level cap. I mean it's a double-edged sword - you want fans to go to the game, but tickets are way too expensive - and broadcasters/networks want to sell ads but can't. So weird.

I use Firefox on my Mac - I didn't realize it - but they have an add blocker for Youtube. It's amazing - but when I watch Youtube on AppleTV I have to endure longer and longer and more frequent ads. Youtube is trying to overcome Ad blockers. We are all just consumption slaves to big media and rich sports owners.

At least you are in the same state. I'm in Phoenix and we get blacked out for: Arizona Dbacks, Los Angeles teams, San Diego, Oakland and San Francisco. It's nuts, like they are losing ticket sales to those cities from Phoenix? And MLB only lists the Dbacks for blackouts, but I know last year, all those teams I listed were blacked out. And at one time, I think even Seattle was in that group.
