After three years of trying to remove all the broadleaf weeds and dandelions from my yard with weed killer spray, I bought one of these and it was just the best purchase. It's immensely satisfying to rip those bad boys up by the tap root and dump them in a trash can. If you need to use it often, I do recommend looking at versions like the Fiskars one that have an ejection mechanism; you don't have to bend to pull the weed out of the ground with these, but you may find yourself needing to bend or lift the pole to get the weed unstuck from the grip. That said, this is a good price.
