Unless a person has a very specific reason to need this much very quickly, this would be a bad purchase. Mace is one of those things that starts to deteriorate very quickly once it's ground.

Buying this much at once would be kind of like buying six big bags of fresh coffee beans at once and then pre-grinding them all. It would be fine if you're going to go through it all in a couple weeks, but a bad idea if you plan on it being six months worth.
